Transparency and SISU?

SO, another transfer embargo hits the City, which for a club that went almost 12 months without signing 1 outfield player, is hardly going to be the ruination of our club, but why all the words of rhetoric from Tim "trust me" Fisher?

That's two years on the trot that we they have been late producing accounts, with the excuse being: "As part of the accounts submission process then we have to be able to show committed funding out for the next financial year and, at this stage, we could not do this as we, the board, are still in the process of agreeing and negotiating budgets with the owner."

"There is nothing untoward about this and it is perfectly normal to be negotiating funding with the owner".

Or, it could mean: we don't really want to waste any more money on this club, we have sold most of the assets so we are looking to get out as soon as possible, going into administration at the earliest opportunity, with relegation pretty much guaranteed.

On the playing side:

10 straight away defeats is enough to explain to any doubter that we are in the mire, but, we did go through the 1999/2000 season without an away win and managed to finish 14th in the Premiership that season. The big difference being that our home form was the 6th best in the league that year and we also had a certain Mr R Keane up front.

Let's hope we can keep up our winning form at home in the immediate future, to at least give us a slim chance of staying in the Championship, with or without the backing of SISU!

Keep up to date
