Yet another massive week ahead for Coventry City

WITH three defeats on the trot and seven goals conceded when the Sky Blues needed at least a couple of wins it has left them stuck rigid at the bottom of the division.

So we have to say those dreaded words yet again the next two games are both six pointers but while us grey faced supporters are ashen and shaky the manager and players seem oblivious to our plight.

Andy "optimistic" Thorn keeps going on about how grateful he is to us fans for sticking with him and the team while giving us all high blood pressure and insomnia but wouldn't his gratitude come over a lot better if he gave us something to calm us down like a win away from home for a start ?

We know they are trying and don't mean to keep losing but losers don't win nowt do they ?
I try to win the Lottery every week but that doesn't mean I will does it ?

Surely Andy must know time is running out by now he doesn't need a Maths degree from Oxford to work that out as the old saying reminds us all that Time and Tide waits for no one or something like that.

In other words they have to start winning again like they did against Brighton, Bristol City, and Boro, pity there aren't a few more sides beginning with the letter B as that seems to be lucky for us.

Leeds up on Tuesday night then Forest away on Saturday bring back memories of some great encounters over the decades and seeing the position we are in these two fixtures are big in there own way.

Still there are lots of games left yet and the fat lady hasn't started warbling just yet whatever a fellow blogger has recently alluded to but we have to get back to winning ways this week or we needn't be bothering thinking about trips to Championship grounds next season as it'll be outings to Hartlepool, Carlisle, and sunny Bournemouth instead.

Keep up to date
