The Fat Lady!
THAT'S 21 points we have given away from winning positions so far this season, which is not good enough by any measure, but for a team languishing at the bottom of the table, it's pretty pathetic and shows how poorly our resolve has been. There can be no excuse for giving away late goals on such a regular basis, but it is sorry statistic to take with us into League 1, for that is surely where we are headed.
Unless something happens with an emergency loan, which I can't see happening so we can all start to make plans for an away day's at Stevenage, Exeter and Yeovil. With the local derby against Walsall to look forward to.
Seven points from safety is three wins and considering we have averaged 1 win per month since the start of the season and sold our top goal-scorer, that doesn't seem too likely. So the games against Forest & Barnsley take on huge significance now, as I don't see us beating Reading away and we very rarely get anything from games against Leeds Utd.
"It's Not over yet" is the music they play on CWR whenever they talk about the Sky Blues, so I wander what they will be playing in a couple of weeks when we are too far gone.
The Fat lady is warming up and ready to go! ! ! ! !
