Will the January sales bring any new year joy for Coventry City ?
TO quote William Shakespeare it's looking like a winter of discontent for the Sky Blues as sadly Andy Thorn is proving not to be a man for all seasons.
Andy says he can't wait for January to arrive so he can bring in some new players to tighten things up but will he be still in charge then anyway and furthermore will anyone want to come to a struggling side ?
But before those January sales begin we have the December fixtures to worry about because lose all those which could happen we will be so far adrift from the pack above us that even the signing of Lionel Messi wouldn't be enough to save us.
We quite simply have to win on Saturday against Hull City a draw will be no good we need the three points desperately so as to get a kick start for a winning run.
I do like Andy Thorn but sentiment means nothing in football as we know only too well it's a result industry and if your not getting points on the board sadly the manager gets the chop.
Does that mean yet another managerial change at Coventry City or do we stick with Andy and hope it comes good ?
I do feel a bit sorry for him though because we will never know if he had kept the players he ended last season with if he could have continued the winning run we were on at that time, but as Andy Thorn has said on many occasions we are where we are and we've got who've we've got.
Which currently is at the bottom of the Championship with no win in nine games and a team that's incapable of holding a lead or playing for a whole ninety minutes and which keeps on making pathetic mistakes which has cost us game after game.
So what happens now is anyone's guess all I know is things have got to change now or sadly they will stay the same.
