A Time for positive action?
Stuck in the bottom three, with our "Star Striker" being "evicted from his current site" the omens aren't looking too good for the Sky Blues.
Other teams in our position are taking positive action, bringing in loan players and/or sacking their managers, in an effort to bring some success to their teams, what are we doing?
Bristol City & Nott's Forest are the latest teams to try and emulate the turnaround seen since the introduction of Dean Saunders at Doncaster Rovers, who have 2 wins and a draw from their last three games. If the new managers have anything like the same success, it must surely spell more doom and gloom for Sky Blues fans?
There was a "promise" of premiership loan players coming to the club, but as yet, (as always it would appear) more talk than action. The only action we see is the seemingly usual "we were after him" as soon as anyone else makes a loan signing, with no sign of anyone, apart from the postman, at the Ricoh Arena.
Leaving just us and Millwall in the bottom 5 not to have taken any positive action, (unless you count getting rid of Eastwood as positive action)!
With massive games coming up against struggling teams: Forest, Burnley, Doncaster & Millwall in our next five fixtures, it is surely time to gamble, because if we can get results here, then we may be able to push for safety.
Anything other than 3 wins, (with games against Leeds, Southampton, West Ham & Brighton to follow) could spell the end for us and our time in the Championship, with all the implications that may have for the future of Coventry City Football Club..........................
