Who's coming and who's leaving Coventry City Football Club ?
TODAY is the final day of the transfer window and all us Sky Blue fans will be hoping we bring in at least two new players and to keep hold of Clingan and Jutkiewicz.
It's a very nervy time of the season your like an expectant father pacing up and down waiting to see what you've got and even more so this season with all the goings on and off the pitch at Coventry City.
But we know that Ben Turner is off to Cardiff City and not it seems to Birmingham City his home town team which will come as a blow to many fans as he was a favourite with a lot of City supporters.
But we all know too well the financial mess the club is in so it was inevitable that one of the central defenders would have to leave the club to get some cash to get in a striker,as we have a surplus of defenders making up a thin squad.
As Turner is arguably the best of the bunch it was him who was seen as the one who would make much needed revenue but Cardiff are taking a gamble on a player recovering from a serious injury but then again that's the nature of the beast in football isn't it ?
Talking of beasts it looks as if big Jon Parkin could be on his way to the Ricoh not exactly the most svelte player around but a handful for the most rugged of defender nevertheless and he can ruffle feathers with his strength and robust style.
But we need Jutkiewicz alongside him not as a replacement but with Boro hot on his trail he like Turner could also be on his way out through the exit door.
Some fans are already writing off Parkin before he's already signed for our club which is a bit unfair I feel because every player deserves a chance remember the eyebrow raising Micky Quinn's signing made?
And look at how good he turned out to be and big Micky wasn't a lightweight was he but he certainly knew where the net was,so if the beast does come at least give him a chance.
But to hear that Clingan may be going to Leeds will be devastating for the team as he's quality and much needed and who on earth could replace him if nobody of his class is coming in ?
So it's going to be a very anxious time waiting to hear and read about the transfer news today, but I tell you what being a football fan and even more so a Coventry City supporter does half put years on you !
