Hello my first post here.
Whilst last season drew to a close I was wondering what I actually want from CCFC, after supporting them for 40 years of my life, I have come to the conclusion that where we finish in the league is not the most important thing for me, whether we have players like Marlon King and Westwood is not important. What is important is that we go back to basics, we bring young players through who want to play for the club. For the last 5 years we have signed established players paying high wages, and it has not worked, we still finish near the bottom. So surely it is time to invest in young players, players who will run all day for the club and aren't necessarily looking for a big pay cheque at end of month.
I really believe if the club got a crop of younf talented players supported by a few established players and tried to played some good football the fans would come back. I for one can no longer relate to the players we have so lets give youtgh a chance.

Paul Gardner, as I live and breathe, bless you my son. Indeed you are right. I do not care where we are going, but I care passionately about the path we take. I do not want the likes of King and his cronies at my club. Let's languish in the Championship forever, or even lower if it must be. But for the love of Abraham, let us take the pretty road there.
