Coventry City fans want to see some goals
FELLOW blogger Ian Palmer wasn't very happy at the Sheffield United game last Saturday not just because he lost his bet, but also because of the Sky Blues woeful finishing and lack of goals.
I mentioned in a previous blog that I'm currently laid up with my leg in plaster and can't go to any games, which is so frustrating because I hate missing matches especially at home,so I'm making do with listening to games on the radio and reading reports.
Against the Blades the City were all over them like a rash and how on earth we didn't give them a hammering is a mystery, their goalkeeper came away with all the plaudits but not to stick away a few at least with all that domination is crazy.
Ian says we needed just someone with a clear head to put the ball in the net,I bet if any player had banged one home the floodgates may have opened, but we will never know because nobody did.
Still it proved that we can move the ball around and be an attacking side, and it would be great if the Sky Blues really had a go at Q.P.R. and not be intimidated because they are at the top, because teams that are leading any division don't usually like other sides coming to their place and attacking them it can unsettle them and put them off their stride.
So although it looks like I'll be missing some more games yet I'll still be sending the team and our fans positive vibes,so I'd say to go and put a bet on a City win at Loftus Road Ian, but as it's the Sky Blues I'd only put on a quid if I were you !
