Let's Get Back to the Football

Steady yourselves: I'm about to say something that isn't about Marlon King or the possible motives for putting a cat in a wheelie bin...

The Sky Blues actually have a match on the horizon!

It's easy to forget about Millwall away this Saturday when there's so much to talk about. But let's not forget that neither Marlon or Lola will be playing, so maybe we should turn our attentions away from the popular pair, just for a moment...

Saturday's is a critical game for City. Early season momentum can do so much for a team (think Leicester last year). A win against Millwall would turn a good start to the season into a great start, and the positive feeling amongst the manager, squad, and fans will continue to build.

But Millwall have already shown that they're really up for a scrap in the Championship and have already dispatched Bristol City and Hull 3-0 and 4-0 respectively. On top of that they knocked Middlesborough out of the Carling Cup the other night as well.

What I'll be looking for on Saturday is a reaction from our strikers. All this King talk should be like a red rag to a bull for someone like Freddy Eastwood. Eastwood stands to loose his place in the side should King sign, so I want to see Freddy go out and prove that King is not needed.

City haven't played well in the last couple of games, and luck has been on our side. Let's hope that City can improve before the luck runs out.

Now, just what possessed her to even stop by that bin... and why on Earth was she wearing gloves...?

Keep up to date
