Time for Ray Ranson to Speak.....
With Chris Coleman sitting down to discuss targets and budgets with Ray Ranson this week, it seems next seasons future will be determined before this one has petered out into a disappointing and demoralising end.
Chris Coleman has realised what the fans new all along that we lack pace, creation, a physical presence up front and have too small a playing squad to compete. But will he have any funds to improve things?
We need a statement of intent from the Ray Ranson. We need to know firstly if he is behind the manger and secondly if he will provide him with funds to improve the squad or will funds have to come from player sales?
Yes we know the finances are not great, it will be interesting to see the figures this year bearing in mind the reductions in playing staff and the transfer fees received over the last 12 months.
As reluctant as he appears to be to talk to the media, I think he needs to come out and talk to the fans. Whether it is via the Telegraph or the BBC, I don't mind, but we need to hear from him now...
