Coventry City faces Cardiff City test in race to play-offs

IT felt a bit strange leaving the Ricoh after the Plymouth game, even though we got a draw, for some reason it felt more like a defeat.

That was probably down to us being favourites to win, especially as we are on a good run, and Plymouth struggling at the foot of the table.

But it just goes to show that in the Championship anything can happen, but we never lost the game, so Cov City's surge up the table hasn't been affected, the race to the play-offs is still very much on. Here's hoping that Sky Blues can soar above the Bluebirds.

The true test will be in the next few games, starting tonight with the visit of Cardiff City, and as Chris Coleman rightly says, it really is a "monster" match.

A win for the Sky Blues can put us in a top six spot, so what a great incentive then, I still have to pinch myself and rub my eyes, when I look at the table, it just goes to prove, if you want something badly enough, you can achieve it.

It won't be easy, Cardiff are a decent outfit, but like most Championship sides, they do blow hot and cold, but the Sky Blues have it in them now, to beat the welsh club, if they go into the match with confidence, and belief.

I don't want to bring up the attendances again, enough has been said on the matter now, but it would be great, if the crowd that turned up on Saturday, came again tonight, or even a few more too.

But the main thing is the result, a win would be great, a draw not too bad, but a loss, would hand Cardiff a psychological boost.
