Nine Games to go, still all to play for
Chris Coleman is right there it is all still to play for.
With 9 games left and after a painful last minute defeat to Cardiff, some fans are saying that was the end for our chances of a play off position, but why?
Nine games ago City were eight points of the play offs and now we are only five. During that period we played Newcastle, Forrest and Cardiff and still managed to close the gap to the top six.
Over the same nine match period, Cardiff only picked up 10 points compared to City's 17. Don't forget Cardiff still also have to play Forrest, Swansea and Leicester before the end of the season.
As we have seen in this league, any team can be beaten on their day with the possible exception of Newcastle. Cardiff have recorded defeats to strugglers Plymouth, Ipswich twice and Sheffield Wednesday just to prove that point.
If we pick up where we left off after our last defeat to Newcastle, by winning the next three games, then we will be back in-touch with playoffs.
Who knows which teams will have a dip in form, lose a couple of key players or get a couple of bad decisions and start dropping points?
I don't think the final place will be decide until the final Sunday of the season so I agree with Chris, there is still everything to play for !
