Another frustrating afternoon at the Ricoh
AFTER another home draw against a team lower in the league on Saturday this season's in danger of tailing off like the last one
Though our play off chances are still being described as "faint" we should come to accept they are NON EXISTENT.
Without an improvement in the remaining games we could be back in the state that so depressed Kevin Halls in December.Off course we've been so inconsistent this year we could win the next six games
This is the fate of a Coventry City fan. I'm afraid I can't agree with West End Boy as the manager Chris Coleman is ultimately responsible
In a season when the team under his charge has been inconsistent not only between games, but between halves of games some things are constant
Our build up play is desperately slow and predictable. Often a number of passes fail to even produce an attempt on goal.
Is this something coached into the players ? Or is it because they don't have the confidence to attack the opposition with real conviction?. Either is the fault of the management
Often when we do create chances they are missed in good positions. Little confidence is shown by the forwards at times.
We've scored just forty five goals this year so far the eighteenth best in the league. We need to improve our forward options next year.
Offering a contract to a leading scorer who hardly averages one in three games will not do that. A striker who can score twenty goals plus is vital
More and more the decision to restrain spending at the start of the season looks suspect. But even the resources we have arent been used properly in my opinion.
When Freddy Eastwood showed signs of recovering his goalscoring form I don't understand why he was dropped. Against Sheffield Wednesday he was deployed out wide in an alien formation, moved inside then dropped at half time
And so as the season drags to an unconvincing end I'm told the players are tired. I'm pretty drained myself. Im asked to contribute an extra ã22.00 for next year's season ticket.
We'll everything goes up. On a personal note having been made redundant this year it's a big expense. Any chance of an unemployed discount Mr Ranson
