Does Chris Coleman know what he's doing?

MICKY ADAMS famously over reacted to a chant at an away game and his relationship with the fans was never the same.Has Chris Coleman reached his Micky Adams moment with his neanderthal comment in today's telegraph ?

I feel he should have respect for fans opinion's many who've watched football for years and are just as capable of spotting trends in the game as he is

It's not a debate about whether one system is more negative then another. In his first season he played a single striker to great effect. We created a number of chances and saw the best of Michael Doyle and Kevin Thornton, two players who are no longer at the club.

The real point is why is he playing it in this case. If it's to make chances it has failed because we made precious few against Swansea. Against Blackpool beyond the three he mentioned there was nothing.

If he's honest with himself he played it to contain the opposition. As West End Boy said in his recent blog our first aim suddenly seems to be to achieve a draw. That's almost a definition of negativity.

If its true that the system had nothing to do with our decline in the second half against Blackpool ,why did we choose to change it ?. As West End boy said last season we beat Birmingham and Wolves without resorting to trying to stop the opposition play.

That was the Chris Coleman of last season. This season's model seems to be rather less positive, and more thin skinned when he's criticised

I hope the arrival of the two new strikers will produce a positive effect that will lead to a good end to the season
