Coleman just can't cut the Mustard
Chris Coleman has today turned on the fans that booed on Saturday.
What he obviously doesn't realise is that they were just as much aimed at him and not just Leon Best, who didn't want to get his boots dirty ahead of signing for Newcastle today.
Saturdays performance was clueless, it was every man for himself and we just ran around like headless chickens trying to get the ball back.
Coleman has never acheived anything as a Manager but mediocrity, and Coventry have had enough of that over the last few years.
What is needed now is a fresh approach, a Manager that can take us to where we should be and not just talk about it.
Today we are selling our top scorer (for yet another undisclosed fee!) and it seems replacing him with either an on loan defender or 5th choice at Carlisle Utd.
This is just not good enough.
Ranson, either put up or shut up, we don't want a "yes boy" we want a Manager.
The boo's will only grow, and quite rightly too, we work hard to pay the wages of people who are just not good enough.

I can't help but feel that your criticism is completely ill-founded. It's ridiculous to believe that sacking Coleman would be beneficial to the club. He's now got his own squad, so judgement should truly take place over the next 6 to 12 months.
The mere suggestion of getting rid of Coleman, as well as your criticism of Ranson (whose business sense has saved the club from serious trouble) just seems ludicrous.
I was in the Tesco stand on Saturday and the abuse was being directed more towards Chris Coleman than Leon Best. Not only were the tactics (what tactics?) awful but to take Leon Best and David Bell off whilst leaving McIndoe on the pitch was nothing short of rediculous. OK Best and Bell didn't have a great game but McIndoe was anonymous thoughout the game (again).
I'm not in the Coleman out brigade but Saturday made me start to doubt the tactical nous of him more seriously.
Coleman's record of buying players appears to be excellent but his tactics let him down. Maybe we need somebody in to sort out the tactics whilst Coleman signs the players? Just a thought.
I agree with Steve, I think Coleman has missed the point (or should I say 2 points) the timing of the boo boys just coincided with Best going off, from all the people I have spoken to the booing was aimed at Coleman, because he was tactilly niave again, it was obvious to all that was there that Blackpool was running the show and the like for like formation he adopted was not working so why did he not change it? We were lucky to get a draw and to say we were the best team in the first half, was he watching the same game? I am not all for Coleman to be sacked but if we are not in the yop half by the end of the season then I think he should resign, all we have had is false promises, same tired excuses, none of us mind playing like that away from home against the top teams and earning a draw but to play it at home when playing a team that is practically at the same standard as us was very poor judgement on Colemans behalf.
I agree with Clive. I don't think the future of the club should be decided by the Blackpool game, however tedious it was. We are probably a striker away from the squad CC wanted 6 months ago. It has taken a while but only 3 of the players from the matchday squad of the woeful team that lost 4-1 to Charlton in 2008 remain at the club (which with the exception of Fox and Dann is fantastic news!). If we have a decent finish to this season I will feel very positive about next season.
Since when do we have the right to be in the premiership? we lost that right the best part of ten years ago!
This article is poorly written and ill informed.
Coleman took on the managerial role at Fulham with five games to go at the end of the 2002/03 premier league season got 10 points from 15 and kept them up - 2003/04 saw them finish superbly in 9th - what a poor manager.
A ticket does not give you the right to boo - if you want to be negative stay at home and phone in the radio shows - the team need support.
Coventry City is a money pit and Ray Ranson is doing his best to make it work.
The Coventry boo boys are deluded, we are losing money and have poor support and the only way out of this hole is to support the team.
