Random thoughts while waiting for the next game
IT seems a long time since the last City match. When you havent got a game to concentrate on all that's left is the telegraph articles. They've driven me to ask a few questions
When will Chris Hussey be ready ?
He's 21 years of age not a teenager. Almost everybody has been tried at left back instead of him. An out of position Cranie and Wood the latest situation. Now we are after another left back till the end of the season
It's not even if he can get reserve team action. When will he get a proper chance ?
Why doesnt Ben Turner have an operation ?
As I've said before we have up to nine choices for the centre half positions. Eight if we dont pursue Leon Barnett. But Chris Coleman does want to bring him to the club.
So why not let Turner have an operation now. As long as the eight other players stay fit we ought to get by
Why do we have secret reserve games ?
Another rushed reserve game was created to give Madine a game. Was he any good you might ask. Well we dont know. In his telegraph article Ashley Cain mentioned we lost 2-1.
Did Hussey play and does that mean hes nearer to being ready?. Perhaps at least a telegraph photographer can go to the next one. Then us poor fans can satisfy ourselves that it actually happened
What is Chris Coleman's future strategy for this football club ?
Perhaps we'll have a better idea after the transfer window closes. At the moment I've got no idea

I can only think that Coleman's seen someting on the training ground to make him reticent to start Hussey. In the short time I've seen him on the pitch he looks the business. He may prance and yap his way up and down the left side like a puppy chasing a stick, but he seems to have the ability to match enthusiasm. Give him a shot, Chris!
And I totally agree about Turner. Seems risky to keep him going with bits of bone 'floating' around his ankle. Yuck. Get that cleaned up and pick from one of the plethora of alternative CBs. Or don't we count Grandison as one any more...
