Every game has become a six pointer
IT'S ONLY December, but already every match is becoming a massive one, every one a "six pointer" pressure or what?
After the pathetic performance against mighty Scunthorpe, and now losing to Newcastle, who I thought looked pretty average at times, we are looking like a League One side already.
Ten games without a win, is relegation form, and if we can't beat those giants of English football Peterborough on Saturday at home, well, what a long winter must lay ahead.
Just like last season, players are missing crucial games, through injury or sickness, and theirs me thinking that players today, are so much fitter, and stronger, than in the past, well obviously they can't be, because I've never known anything like it.
But I'm still trying to stay upbeat, and keeping my Sky Blue faith, but in reality, I'm watching the slow decline of my lifelong club in front of my eyes, and us faithful supporters are having to keep looking for the positive, when there's not a lot to see.
It's really hard to say who's to blame for the mess the club is in, is it the manager, the Chairman, or the players, or is it a combination of all three ?
Talking to other fans during and after games, some say Coleman, some Ranson, whilst others blame the players, just not good enough.
Myself , I would bring in a new manager now, to come in and keep us in the Championship, and build from there, someone like Ian Holloway would be ideal, look at the job he's doing at Blackpool, but would he come ?
But that's just my view, I'm just a fan, my job is to keep on supporting my club, which I will do, but it's becoming so tiring having to defend the club, just when will we be a top flight club again, or am I wishing for the impossible ?

Anything to add to this ridiculously negative article now that we're in the top 10 with the end of the season in sight???
Dave, you say this blog was negative, but look when I wrote it,we were rubbish, and we were looking like relegation material.
But if you look through my blogs, you will see, that I have said,we have improved things, which I have also said has been a bit of a surprise, seeing we went ten games without a win.
I know what your trying to say,and that is,don't I look silly now we are just outside the play offs, but tell you what Dave,if I am great, because I honestly never thought we would be where we are now.
TThe blog summed up the mood at the time, but fair play to the Sky Blues since then, they have proved me wrong, and as a long suffering Cov City fan, I salute them !
It's great to read something that's both enjoyable and porivdes pragmatisdc solutions.
