Aron Gunnarsson......moving on?

With Chris Coleman's comment that a 'fans favourite' maybe moving on in the transfer window and Aron Gunnarsson comments that the fans think it means him. It must be a concerning time for the popular midfielder and his fans

Having burst onto the seen last season with some excellent performances in midfield, Gunnarsson has found it difficult to re-capture the form of last year. This can often be the case with younger players as Chris Coleman would readily agree.

Aron cited personal problems at the start of the season as to why he was struggling. When you consider he is a young man living away from home in a different country, played around 50 games last season, carries a weight of expectation on his shoulders and is just 20. It is no surprise that he may have struggled to cope and his form dipped as a result.

There are however signs in recent games that he is starting to recapture the form of last season.

Bearing in mind Aron is one of the four players we were building a team around and Chris Coleman and Ray Ranson's mantra of wanting young talented players. I would be surprised if Aron did leave.

If a Premiership club has already come in with a big offer (like Dann), then we would be left with little choice but to sell. Maybe a deal has already been done and Coleman is softening the fans up? Who knows only Coleman and Ranson, we will have to wait and see..!
