Not just the Championship that's tough
My last blog was about the City being a soft touch, but I want to be positive and upbeat, because at the end of the day, I'm just like any other lifelong supporter, all I want is to see Coventry City doing well, and being successfull.
We keep on hearing about how tough the Championship is, and how hard it is to get out of, but so are all the other divisions too, each one is competitive, every club wants to do well.
But any club with real ambitions, gets together a decent squad of players, and they show consistent form throughout the season, that is the only way out of this, or any other division.
I
I feel that when our squad is fit and playing reguarly, it looks good enough to stay in the top half of this league, but like last season, we're once again suffering lot's of injuries, so that disrupts the team making, or sustaining any progress.
But there is talent at the club, especially amongst the youth squad, and in Best, Westwood, and Gunnarsson, we have got three potentially outstanding players.
And finally, although I mentioned the stay away fans before, I'm confident in saying they will return, just look at the crowds for the cup ties last season, but only when they see us near, or at the top, so now that rests on the players, so watch this space.
