Ready, steady, Cookie
CHRIS COLEMAN'S post-Preston commentary about winning mentality and self-belief was well intended but frankly does not wash with the Coventry supporter who very much knows the recipe for football success and who hasn't been served a single slice for twenty two years.
What we have been served up is generous helpings of drivel from umpteen managers who only manage to talk the talk.
The best cook in the kitchen is chef - the one with the knowledge to deliver what is on the menu - to hone the skills of his students and send back the food that is not good enough, or not as ordered.
The latent desire and positive attitide exists already (they are professional footballers with Coventry City).
Our larder may be a little bare and indeed ordinary but it can be nurtured with first class coaching and individual mentoring to deliver extraordinary results.
In the language of football it does not mean instant promotion or anything similarly daft for Coventry city BUT enough to guarantee that wannabe City fans come back again for another helping of good stuff.
So - Cookie, become Master Chef at The Home Of English Football and be confident that your own behaviours require Best In Class performance from our boys in Sky Blue.
We want to support our Manager and his team and we are not greedy.
BUT - we DO expect a certain consistency.
Time to turn up the heat.
This Saturday at The Ricoh - Teesiders - Boing Boinged with the old five last week we will take a cheeky one nil courtesy of anyone who gets their toe on the ball.

IF your relating the Sky Blues with food, let's hope they start serving up tasty starters,and superb mouth watering main meals.
If they do, the customers(fans)will come back for more.
We've been on a diet for too long(lack of success)it's time we feasted at the finest establishments,(Premier League).
