Looking for the positives

SOMETIMES as a football fan it's hard to know what to feel and how to sum up your teams progress. City's last two games are a case in point

Last Saturday's 2-2 draw seemed a good result.Even so an average first half where we conceded two bad goals didnt impress.Yet the character shown to come back from two down promises much more

Last night featured a treasured away win.But both some apalling defending, and heroics from Keiron Westwood were a feature of the game.It also featured another Clingan goal and two more from a revitalised Leon Best.

As you balance out those postives and negatives, you are left with the sheer determination and self belief required to achieve both results

As I said in "Away Day Blues" and "Positive Mental Attitudes" I believe this team can achieve more if they believe in themselves. With that in mind these two results are encouraging.

Questions can be asked about players chosen in defence, but even if it's just down to bad technique this can be coached in to the players.Self belief is key in any sport and the management need to continue to foster it in the weeks to come

Keep up to date
