Poor service at the City
MY BROTHER-IN-LAW bought tickets for Blackpool. For him, his lads, his daughter and her boyfriend.
The daughter and boyfriend changed their minds about going so off Paul, that's my brother-in-law, goes to the ticket office to get a refund of said tickets.
We as a family have bought tickets in the past and returned them as circumstances conspired to stop us attending. The most recent down to an episode with swine flu. It only lasted a weeeeeeeeeek. I digress.
On these occasions no problem at all, give the ticket back, the 'hard earned' is refunded.
Not anymore.
Paul was met with 'sorry we don't do that... the policy has now changed.' The best they could do is offer a credit note. A credit note? How's that work?
CCFC are selling the tickets for Blackpool FC?
Either way it's just poor. Why has the policy changed, and before we get into the legal aspect, terms conditions and notices etc it just strikes me as poor service towards us the hard done by fan.

Is this really âÂÂpoor serviceâ or just not good service? You might take it for granted that our nice club would give you refunds on tickets, but generally speaking most events of this kind would be non-refundable and non-transferrable. That's just how things are. By giving you a credit note it at least means you can buy tickets to see another match of your choosing, and City get to keep some of the cash that they so badly need.
