Elliott Ward: Penalty was like a dream

RELIEVED Elliot Ward says he couldn't wait to step up for Coventry City's decisive penalty against QPR.
The in-form defender missed a spot kick at Bramall Lane in the Sky Blues' 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.
However, when Jay Tabb won a spot-kick on Saturday, the centre-back had no doubts about stepping forward again for the crucial kick.
He told the club's official website: ""It was nice to get it so soon after the one I missed on Tuesday when it was a real disappointment not to hit the target.
"On Friday though I knew something would happen in this game, it was like a dream. I had no problem taking it."
The Sky Blues are now unbeaten in three games and now face a buoyant Blackpool side - fresh from beating title favourites Birmingham City - on Saturday
Ward added: ""It's been a good week and it could maybe have been seven points but we got the win and it gives us confidence for the trip to Blackpool.
"We are a good team and showed that against Sheffield United where we should have had three points.
"It was a win at the end of the day."
