Coventry City end Nottingham Forest's cup run
WELL, well, well.
Lurking in the Youtube vaults is this classic footage of one of the great games at Highfield Road: Coventry City 5 Nottingham Forest 4 in 1991.
It's a bit longer than some of the other videos in our CCFC collection but it's well worth it to watch Coventry City end Nottingham Forest's 22 match unbeaten run in the then-Littlewoods Cup.
The legendary Old Big 'Ead didn't look to happy after the final whistle, did he?
As well as the plethora of goals, there's loads to keep your eyes peeled for.
Firstly, the length of the shorts. Insert your own meat and two veg pun here.
Secondly, check out the crafty chap who gives the dejected Brian Clough a hearty slap on the back after the Sky Blues' victory.
As Clough turns to give the cocky sod a few choice words, he cannily slips to one side allowing someone else to shoulder Clough's furious stare. Clever.
And finally, when you've been 4-0 up and pulled back level, is there any better feeling than bagging the winner? Is there?
No, thought not...
