Beware of Clinton's tongue !
It thrilled me to hear that the turnaround in City's performance in the second half against Newcastle, was not just down to Chris Coleman's words at half-time, but to Clinton Morrison's as well!
After Clinton's crucial goal just before the break, he went into the dressing room and went off on one, telling his teammates how they were giving the Geordies too much respect. Coleman then took up from where Clinton left off and continued the rant.
It certainly worked too.
I think Morrison was right to have a barny this time. After all, without his goal City would have felt dead and buried at half-time. Plus, he's a senior player and should speak up, even if he's critical of the younger guys.
But do you want your players doing the half-time team-talks, or does that undermine the manager?
What do you think?
